Paste paper is made by boiling cornstarch and water until it is thick and then, mixing it with acrylic paint. Wet a sheet of paper and brush on the paste mixture. Using a variety of tools like combs, rings and found objects, create marks on the paper by dragging these implements across the surface. Let the paint dry and, voila, you have a beautiful color paper to use in creating a variety of masterpieces. We used ours to create a paste paper pollinator collage.
